Children and young people are at the heart of all that we do at Parenting Special Children

CYP Groups

Parenting Special Children offer a variety of groups for Autistic / ADHD children and young people, children with SEND or early life trauma

The groups are a place where children and young people can build confidence, try new experiences, learn new skills and above all be themselves and have fun!

A Team: Monthly group for Autistic/ADHD primary-secondary aged girls. Auticulate: Fortnightly social group for Autistic/ADHD children and young people (CYP) in mainstream education. Let’s Get Creative (Adopters): Monthly group for adopted CYP aged 5-14 to explore social interaction through art. Let’s Get Creative (Kinship): Monthly group for CYP aged 5-12 in Kinship Care to explore social interaction through art. Social Confidence Course: A 6-week course for Autistic/ADHD CYP in mainstream education, targeting school years 4-8/9. Transition to Adulthood Group: Monthly group for neurodivergent/adopted/kinship/fostered young people aged 16-19/20.

Let’s Get Creative! Adopted Children (inc Adopters Support Group)

Starts on Saturday 7th December

A monthly group for children (age 5-14) living, or attending a school, in Berkshire. A small number of tickets are available for non-Berkshire children. Held in Reading from 10am-12pm.
