Parenting Special Children have a growing team of staff, volunteers and sessional practitioners who bring a wide range of skills, knowledge and expertise to the charity.
The majority of our courses and workshops take place during term time which enables PSC to offer job and volunteering opportunities which provide flexibility, especially important as we are a user led charity and have neurodivergent children/young people, children with SEND or early life trauma.
Admin & Technical Support (Part-Time – Term Time)
- 20 hours per week | Term-time only, with some flexibility in school holidays

At Parenting Special Children, we support families raising neurodivergent children and young people and those who have experienced early life trauma. We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive Admin & Technical Support professional to join our small, passionate team.
This varied role supports our CEO and Service Managers, helping to keep our services running efficiently and ensuring vital information is recorded, reported, and shared.
🌱 What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the CEO with HR administration, including coordinating student placements
- Inputting and maintaining service data (e.g., workshop attendance) in our Charity Log database
- Producing key reports and statistics to support service evaluation
- Creating and managing feedback forms using Google Forms, ensuring all services capture data effectively
- Supporting website updates, ensuring information is current and user-friendly
- Planning and sending newsletters and one-off mailshots
- Providing general administrative support across the team, including helping to organise workshops, groups, and events
✨ What we’re looking for:
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confidence with IT systems, databases, websites, and cloud-based tools
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- A collaborative team player with strong communication skills
- Experience in admin or technical support roles (desirable but not essential)

Parenting Special Children is looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable HR Trustee to join our Board of Trustees.
About Us
Parenting Special Children is a small Berkshire based charity offering specialist support to families of children/young people who have special educational needs and disabilities SEND, including children/young people who have experienced early life trauma. We are a user led charity and very much value lived experience so we are particularly interested in people with lived experience of neurodiversity.
Role Overview
As an HR Trustee, you will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of our charity by providing expert guidance on all HR-related matters.
