What is ADHD?

If you are ADHD, there are differences in how your brain works which can affect how you experience and respond to the world around you

At PSC we have several groups for neurodivergent young people, this includes ADHD. At the groups you can learn more about ADHD and meet with other young people. Click play to watch a video of a young adult explaining ADHD from BBC ideas.

Social Confidence Course for Children & Young People: School Years 4-8

 Starts on Monday 6th January

A face-to-face six week course for Autistic/ADHD children, either diagnosed or on the CAMHS waiting list for assessment, who are registered with a Berkshire West NHS GP. The course is held in Tilehurst, Reading from 4.30-6.30pm.

Protected: Auticulate Juniors (Jan-Feb 2025)

 Starts on Wednesday 8th January

A closed fortnightly social group for autistic/ADHD children, age 8-12, who attend a mainstream school, held in Reading from 4.30-6.30pm. We are currently operating a waiting list. To apply to join the group please email: auticulate@parentingspecialchildren.co.uk

 Starts on Tuesday 14th January

A closed monthly social group for Berkshire neurodivergent, adopted, fostered and kinship care young adults who attend(ed) a mainstream school (age 16-19/20), held in Reading from 4.30-6.30pm.
