Kinship/Connected Carers Support Group
Kinship/Connected Carers are family members or friends who look after a child because their parents aren’t able to care for them due to any reason, for example bereavement.
This support group aims to provide a safe and supportive environment to share experiences and explore the unique challenges faced by Kinship Carers, establish support/social networks for Kinship Carers, and gives Kinship Carers an opportunity to learn from visiting guest speakers about relevant topics and matters of shared interest.
