On Tuesday 15 October 2024 Parenting Special Children launched their new logo and website at Oracle UK. It was great to celebrate with the PSC team, funders, other local charities and organisations.

18 years ago PSC was formed to meet an unmet need for families who have children/young people who are autistic/ADHD and other special educational needs and early life trauma.  Meeting unmet need with knowledge, lived experience, compassion and kindness has remained central to what we do as a charity.

PSC started with one person, founder and CEO Ruth Pearse and now has an amazing team of 40 people

The team members are standing in a row, smiling and wearing branded T-shirts in either bright pink or blue, each with the Parenting Special Children logo. The team members are wearing name badges and lanyards, suggesting a formal or professional event. Pink and blue balloons with the same logo are visible to the left of the group.

Our new site is designed with YOU in mind, making it easier than ever to access the resources, events and support you need. Thank you to Louisa and her team at Orange Grove for bringing this vision to life. Orange Grove is a purpose-driven UX agency that uses behavioural science to create websites that not only help businesses grow but also make a positive impact on society. We’re delighted with a platform that truly connects with our charity’s target audience.

We’ve worked closely with Orange Grove to ensure the site is easy to navigate and guides users seamlessly to the right content, through three different user routes: parents/carers, young people, and professionals. We have a greater emphasis on resources and advice written by our practitioners so parents, professionals and children and young people can find out information relevant to them. We have added videos which are more inviting and accessible for everyone but particularly for young people.

PSC Trustee Sarah Croxford stands speaking into a microphone, presenting in front of a screen displaying the text "New Website." The screen also has navigation options labeled "Parents & Carers," "Young People," and "Professionals." She wears a black blazer and a pink lanyard.

This is just the beginning so content will continue to be added and changed as we settle into the new website and receive feedback from our advisory boards and those who access the website.

We can’t wait for you to explore our new website.
