Overview
County lines, cuckooing and knife crime are prevalent in all communities. Neurodivergent children and those with disabilities and/or adverse childhood experiences are particularly vulnerable to the risks posed by drug and grooming gangs. Prevention and early intervention are key to stopping these exploitative practices.
The session aims to equip parents and carers with an understanding of what county lines and other exploitative practices are and how they work in deceiving and trapping young people.
An additional family member may attend for free with a paying attendee. You only need to book one ticket as there is space on the booking form to note the additional attendee.
Please note that payment by ‘invoice request’ is only available where professionals have agreed to pay for a ticket for a family they support.
