From Survival to Safety: Rethinking Food, Trauma & Neurodiversity June 2026

Overview

This workshop will help parents and carers understand how developmental trauma and neurodiversity shape children’s relationships with food. It will explore the impact of early experiences on eating patterns, sensory needs & feelings of safety.

It will go through practical strategies to support the creation of safe, flexible food environments that promote trust, regulation, and positive lifelong relationships with food.

The workshop is delivered by Naomi Moore, a Play and Creative Arts Therapist, Humanistic Integrative Therapist and Author.

We are very grateful to The National Lottery Community Fund for supporting this workshop.
