Overview
Join us for a relaxed networking lunch with local business owners and professionals from across the area.
Hosted by Parenting Special Children (PSC) and Education Boutique Tutoring and Alternative Provision, this informal lunchtime event offers the opportunity to step away from the office, enjoy a complimentary lunch, and connect with other local businesses.
Alongside the networking, we’ll share a short introduction to the work both organisations do supporting families raising neurodivergent children across the region. You’ll also hear from a local parent who will share their experience and the difference community support can make.
This event is designed to bring businesses together in a friendly and informal setting, creating space for conversation, connection, and collaboration.
Whether you’re looking to expand your local network, meet other business owners, or simply enjoy a good lunch with great company, we would love you to join us.
Lunch is provided and places are limited, so booking is essential.
Parking: Free parking available at the back of the building

Facilitators
Education Boutique
Education Boutique supports schools, trusts and local authorities when a learner can’t access their named school place due to SEND, EBSA, medical needs or complex circumstances. They design and deliver safeguarding-led, bespoke tutoring packages with carefully matched specialist educators, built around the child and aligned to each setting’s reintegration plan and statutory duties. Sessions progress from happening in the home, the community and then in school. Their involvement should always be a bridge back to belonging to the right setting, not a destination.
Dr Ruth Pearse
CEO and Founder
Ruth, CEO and Founder of Parenting Special Children, will share the personal story behind why she started the charity 20 years ago, driven by her own experiences and a clear gap in support for families. She’ll reflect on how that vision has grown into the organisation it is today, and offer insight into how the charity continues to support local families raising neurodivergent children and children with early life trauma, two decades on.
Tess Eagles
Partnership Manager
Tess, Partnerships Manager at Parenting Special Children, will share a little about the charity’s work supporting families raising neurodivergent children and children with early life trauma across our community. She’ll explore the different ways local businesses can get involved, from meaningful partnerships to small, practical actions and how these can make a genuine difference, both to families and within your own organisation.
