Fire! Fire!

We invite you to take part in our new winter fundraiser, our annual charity Firewalk!

Firewalking is the act of walking barefoot over a bed of hot embers or stones. It has a long history in many cultures as a test or proof of faith.

If you take part in our Charity Firewalk you will learn skills to overcome the natural response of avoiding the fire, and walking along the path to self-empowerment.

We will be holding this exciting new event in Caversham at The Weller Centre on 25th January 4-7pm (approx). There will be plenty of parking for family and friends to come and watch.

Hot drinks, hotdogs and soft drinks will be available to buy. The evening will culminate with the sight of amazing fundraisers, walking across the red hot embers, with smiles on their faces and warmth in their hearts!

The company leading us through are Time 4 Change. They were recommended to us by another charity and have been doing it for a long time so they should know what they are doing!

Sign up by emailing sarah.roy@parentingspecialchildren.co.uk and we’ll help you set up your fundraising page with LocalGiving.

We can’t wait to hear from you.
