I have learnt a lot about autism and ADHD through the courses and have new strategies to support my teenage son

Eloise attended a number of courses with Parenting Special Children commissioned by Gems which included the following:  Autism series of workshops, ADHD series of workshops and a sleep workshop. 

Eloise said that she was going to work on the sleep strategies suggested on the sleep course. 

She also contacted the PSC helpline to ask advice with regard to further education and the struggle that she was having to find the right provision for her son. The PSC helpline listened to the challenges that Eloise was facing and were able to find information with regard to a local authority youth worker who may be able to provide support for her son and help him to prepare for the next stage.
