Trauma & Attachment

Traumatic experiences in childhood, whether they are one-off or repeated over a period of time, can leave a long-term impact on the brain & body. These children may need therapeutic parenting & care-giving to help them heal.

Trauma and Attachment

PSC provides specialist services for parents/carers of children & young people who have been through traumatic experiences in their early life, with or without diagnoses.

The Trauma & Attachment team consists of specialist practitioners & trainers who have lived experience of adoption, special guardianship, fostering & domestic abuse. Click to watch ‘Childhood Trauma and the Brain’ from the UK Trauma Council.
