Who’s in Charge? West Berkshire Council Area (June-July 2026)

Overview

An 8 week course for parents and carers living in the West Berkshire Council area, or with children who attend a West Berkshire Council area school. The course provides a therapeutic approach for families of children and young people with special needs (aged 8 – 18) who are violent or aggressive.

We would encourage partners to attend the course together where possible. Accompanying partners receive a free place on the course with the expectation that they share the course materials with the paid attendee.

If you feel that you need the support of your family worker/social worker, or another professional, to attend with you, you must add their details to the booking form.

Bookings for partners and supporting professionals must be made when booking for the first attendee. You won’t be able to add a booking later as we have a limited number of tickets for this event.

The course is funded by Adult and Community Learning, West Berkshire Council.

After booking a ticket you must complete a West Berkshire Council Community Learning enrolment form. You can do so here: https://www.westberks.gov.uk/communitylearningenrolment
