Overview
This seven-week programme is underpinned by attachment and trauma-informed approaches and
explores how adverse childhood experiences can influence children’s behaviour, emotional regulation, sense of safety and relationships with their parents and carers. It is open to birth families, adoptive parents, foster carers and kinship carers.
Through the seven weeks, participants develop practical strategies to strengthen connection, promote
emotional safety, respond to behaviour that challenges and support children to develop greater emotional regulation and a stronger sense of security.
The usual cost of this course is £250/person. Thanks to funding from The National Lottery, we are offering it at a reduced rate of £25.
